Moving On Up… At SES NEW SKIES

Three senior appointments have been made at SES NEW SKIES (an SES company) to establish a new management team. Gerson Souto is the new Senior Vice President Commercial Services. He’ll have the general responsibility for the commercial management of SES NEW SKIES’ existing satellite capacity and service offerings. Gerson joins SES NEW SKIES from SES, where he was the Senior Vice president Strategic Market Development. Steve Collar is the new Senior Vice President Market Development. He has been with the company since 1999 and was instrumental in the design, configuration and procurement of four of SES NEW SKIES’ existing spacecraft. He will now have overall leadership of SES NEW SKIES’ efforts to expand its satellite and service portfolio. And the new Chief Financial Officer for the company is Jonas Mattsson, effective January 2nd, 2008. He was most recently the CFO of SES SIRIUS and he was involved in developing the Nordic and Eastern European markets for SES SIRIUS. These three new appointees join the firm’s veterans Scott Sprague, Senior Vice President Global Sales, and Thai Rubin, Senior Vice President and General Counsel—The Hague, Netherlands
