Northern Sky Research (NSR) has prepared another exceptional report. The newly published study is entitled “Global Assessment of Satellite Demand, 4th Edition”. This new, and completely updated, version digs into the specific details of the trends in 12 individual regional markets across the globe. Built upon an assessment of C-, Ku- and Ka-band comsat transponder demand using a bottom-up approach, a solid foundation of data is provided to underpin NSR’s evaluation of seven key applications in the regional markets investigated. The all-important video markets, the traditional telephony and carrier markets, broadband and VSAT services, and the potential of a number of emerging applications, all are investigated. NSR performed more than 300 unique forecasts in this study, providing a level of granularity essential in truly understanding the directions of the comsat market and where it’s heading in the coming six years.
