Unmanned Systems Leaders Convene for Summit in Alexandria, Virginia

[Satnews] Defense Strategies Institute, a nonpartisan group, will host their 4th DoD Unmanned Systems Summit in Alexandria, Virgina, March 29 to– 30 , 2016.

Designed as an educational and training “Town Hall” forum, where thought leaders and key policy-makers across military and government organizations and the private sector and academic institutions that support them, can come together for actionable discussions and debate. The Summit will offer a full spectrum viewpoint towards all robotic systems that may be remotely piloted or contain a level of autonomous tasking, and operate on land, sea, air and space domains. From policy and procedure to requirements and technical capabilities, the discussions will revolve around expanding capabilities by thinking beyond the abilities of today, to where and how these systems can be used tomorrow.

  6. Activities with MUM-T 7
  7. Improving power, endurance and efficiency
  8. Cyber and EW considerations
  9. Latest FAA discussions regarding UAS in US airspace and creating a UTM
