XipLink Inc., a technology leader in optimized, secure and intelligent multi-path hybrid networking, earlier this month announced XipACE, the XipLink Application Classification Engine, that uses the deep packet inspection (DPI) engine R&S®PACE 2 from ipoque, a Rohde and Schwarz company.
R&S®PACE 2 is an advanced protocol and application classification engine based on next-generation DPI technology, enabling XipACE to provide real-time IP network traffic visibility up through Layer 7 and beyond. XipACE now offers advanced solutions, such as traffic analytics, steering decisions, dynamic link bonding and other trigger points to support the growing demand for multi-orbit networking.
XipOS delivers an improved end user Quality of Experience while addressing several challenges in the satellite, cellular and wireless markets including offloading modems from high session counts, aiding performance for high latency connections with GEO satellites, providing consistent cellular data services and uses available bandwidth at the highest possible capacity. XipOS software also offers hybrid aggregation of GEO and NGSO connections to provide future-proofed enhanced services including security and increased bandwidth scaling for a seamless, multi-orbit solution.
