Kratos Celebrates Their First Year of Constellations Podcasts, and Asks “How Are We Doing?”

December 11, 2018

Constellations, the satellite and space podcast from Kratos, celebrated its first year of biweekly satellite and space podcasts.

Including Constellation special event podcasts, more than 40 episodes were produced in the past year. Constellations brings together key space industry leaders and opinion influencers  to share their thoughts on new space, defense policy, space exploration and travel…and so much more.

As Constellations moves to its upcoming year of podcasts, it wants to make sure that its content continues to always inform — and sometimes amaze you. Constellations producers invite you to fill out a short eight question survey on how the podcast might be improved, and enter a raffle to win a $100 Amazon gift card.*

Recent guests have included:

  • Brad Grady, Senior Analyst, Northern Sky Research — Software Defined Capabilities, MILSATCOM Capacity and Commercial Opportunity
  • Robert Bell, Executive Director, World Teleport Association — Satellite Cloud Services, Hop on Board or Get Left Behind
  • Blaine Curcio, Founder, Orbital Gateway Consulting — China’s Belt and Road Space Initiative and the “Elon Musk” Factor
  • Dan Hart, President and CEO, Virgin Orbit — Concierge Satellite Services and the Cosmic Girl
  • Susan Bull, Senior Consultant and Partner, COMSYS — The Growth of HTS, Death of WiMAX and the Future of Smart Antennas

Constellations is proud to have received positive feedback from our many guests…a sampling…

“Congratulations to Constellations on its one-year anniversary! I really enjoyed our conversation on LauncherOne and the future of space launch. It’s an exciting time in the space industry. I can’t wait to hear about other revolutionary space innovations in future episodes.” — Dan Hart, President and CEO, Virgin Orbit

“ILS congratulates the Kratos Constellations podcast team for their one year anniversary. It was a pleasure being a guest to discuss the launch vehicle landscape and how ILS is enabling satellite communications services with the Proton and Angara launch vehicles.  We wish the Constellations podcast team continued success and look forward to hearing and learning more with each episode.” — Kirk Pysher, President, International Launch Services (ILS)

“Congrats to Kratos on being a voice for the space industry throughout the last year! It was a delight to be a part of this show, and help highlight the status and potential of small sats to listeners both within the industry and beyond.” — Carolyn Belle, Senior Analyst, Northern Sky Research (NSR)

“As satellite service providers become more deeply integrated into global telecom, they are adopting cloud services to extend their capabilities and reach new customers.  Thanks to Kratos for spotting the trend and inviting me to share what we learned through researching trends with our members.” – Robert Bell, Executive Director, World Teleport Association (WTA)

Produced by Kratos, Constellations is designed to provide a forum for people in the space industry — and those intrigued by it, to learn from experts as they share their insights, experiences and expectations for the future.
