[SatNews] Clavister (Nasdaq: CLAV) now has a partnership with a major global provider of secure military communications technology to develop a new range of communication platforms for mobile systems with built in security technologies.
Working in partnership with the organization that has substantial market penetration and customer base and with a multibillion euro turnover, Clavister will deliver advanced, embedded security solutions to secure critical communications infrastructure and command and control systems against data interception and next-generation threats. The announcement follows a long development process that has now reached a critical phase in bringing the solution to market.
This latest partnership follows on from recent agreements that have seen Clavister increase its global presence. In 2014 Clavister has also started work on a number of projects to deliver secure WiFi networks including the Brazil “Smart Cities” initiative, with a focus on securing wireless networks at 1600 locations in the country and with the Swedish Hockey League to provide a secure platform to offer fans value-added in stadium services. The company has also recently announced a partnership with Japanese reseller Mirait, marking its first entry to the Asia-Pacific market, following on from a similar deal with itSoft that saw the company secure its first deal in Croatia.
