NewBay Media’s Best of Show Awards are evaluated by an independent judging panel of industry experts, and are selected based on innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry. TVBEurope has been inundated with nominations for the first ever Best of Show Awards program at IBC, and is delighted to be recognizing those products and services that are driving true innovation and excellence in our sector.

The VB288 was shown at IBC 2014 for the first time with additional functionality that allows the virtual video wall to decrypt, view and monitor OTT services and real-time streams side-by-side in the same advanced graphical display environment, with configurable displays of status metrics. Supporting MPEG-2, h.264/MPEG-4 and h.265/HEVC streams, the VB288’s browser-based remote video-wall delivers full view-anywhere visual status, alarms (including loudness compliance alarms) and analysis. Operators can inspect very large numbers of content services, with dependable metrics and alarming on verifiable, accurate and objective parameters that affect QoE.
The award winners will be featured in the October issue of TVBEurope, and in a dedicated Best of Show Awards publication that will be released digitally across the NewBay Media database.
