[SatNews] ScanEx has revealed that DigitalGlobe (NYSE:DGI) will be participating as Platinum Sponsors for the 6th International Conference “Earth from Space – the Most Effective Solutions.” The event is to be held on October 1-3, 2013, at the Moscow Region “Vatutinki” resort hotel.
As a result of its recent merger with GeoEye, DigitalGlobe now owns and operates five advanced, high-resolution satellites: WorldView-1, Worldview-2, QuickBird, GeoEye-1 and IKONOS. These satellites are capable of collecting more than 3M km2 per day and adding to an image library containing more than 4 billion km2 of high resolution imagery.

The 6th International Conference “Earth from Space – the Most Effective Solutions” will take place on October 1-3, 2013 at the Moscow Region “Vatutinki” resort hotel. Key topics of the conference are: Nature protection and access to space images and near real-time satellite-based monitoring services from civil society in Russia and abroad.
