In digital cinema content distribution, a key customer in Latin America will deploy IDC’s Centient Pro Cinema CDN platform to enable the managed distribution of movies and live events via satellite to theatres throughout the region. In video content distribution, one of the world’s leading media entertainment companies has selected IDC’s Centient Pro Data platform to provide secure delivery of video-on-demand (VOD) assets from a central location to broadcast distribution points across the United States. Also in video content delivery, a major European broadcaster will deploy IDC’s Centient Pro Data platform to distribute video news content to its affiliate stations across Europe. IDC will provide a robust file delivery system where satellite reception and content management are integrated within a single product.
