The Segovia award is one of the first for the joint GSA/Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Future COMSATCOM Services Acquisition (FCSA) initiative. First announced in August 2009, FCSA leverages the GSA Schedule 70 program to provide federal, state and local governments with direct access to the highest quality commercial telecommunications hardware, software and services. Using GSA Special Item Numbers (SINs) established specifically for satellite communications, Segovia can now offer satellite hardware, engineering services, technology services, transponded bandwidth, and managed subscription services as follows:
- SIN 132-8 – Hardware (Inmarsat and Iridium Hardware & Accessories)
- SIN 132-51 – Professional Services
- SIN 132-54 – Transponded Bandwidth
- SIN 132-55 – Subscription Services
