The Board of Directors of EMS Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ELMG) announces the Honorable John R. Bolton, formerly United States Permanent Representative to the United Nations, has been appointed to the Company’s Board.
John B. ’Jack’ Mowell, Chairman of the Board, stated, “We are honored to have an individual of Ambassador Bolton’s experience and strong international stature join our Board of Directors. In addition to his service as our Nation’s Ambassador to the United Nations, he has served in the recent Bush Administration as Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security. During the earlier Bush Administration he also served in several high-level positions, including Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs, and as an Assistant Attorney General in the United States Justice Department. His non-governmental positions include Senior Vice president of the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) and most recently, Senior Fellow at the Institute, focusing on foreign policy and international organizations.”
