Slye and Joseph Fuller, Jr., founder and Chief Executive Officer, will share responsibilities for leading the firm. Slye, a satellite industry veteran, will implement corporate strategy and direct day-to-day operations, while Fuller will focus on strategic initiatives and external relations. “The addition of Peggy as COO expands our leadership and creates a stronger and more capable organization for the benefit of Futron and its customers,” said Fuller.
Peggy Slye, Director of Futron‘s Space and Telecommunications Division since November 2006, has more than 25 years experience in the global satellite industry. Prior to joining Futron, she served in a wide range of management positions at Intelsat, including sales, marketing, and customer service. She played a leadership role in multiple organizational restructuring programs resulting from Intelsat‘s merger and acquisition activities, including the integration of Intelsat and PamAmSat during 2005 and 2006. In addition to her satellite industry career, she has extensive experience in corporate performance management, including organizational design and process redevelopment. Ms. Slye is a native of Omaha, Nebraska and a longtime resident of Montgomery County Maryland. She and her husband Richard are the parents of 5 grown children and have 10 grandchildren.
