Moving On Up… @ EMS Sky Connect

Craig Moen has been promoted to lead the government sales and marketing effort for EMS Sky Connect, a division of EMS Technologies, Inc.

The newly named manager of Government Sales joined EMS Sky Connect in 2005. He will work to expand the company’s profile and build sales with a range of government customers, both domestically and internationally, who have mission-critical communications needs. Moen, like many members of the EMS Sky Connect sales and marketing team, is an experienced pilot with multiple ratings. “Understanding a customer’s needs is critical,” Moen said. “When ground-based systems are down, mission-critical government communications must continue. EMS Sky Connect solutions are proven and affordable, which is important as these customers are asked to do more with less.” In addition to his EMS Sky Connect expertise, Moen’s experience encompasses nexgen networks, optical bandwidth management, and Voice over IP (VoIP). He attended the University of Wisconsin with a degree focus in computer science and business administration and later completed post-graduate work at the Harvard Business School and Digital Management University. EMS Sky Connect has certified Iridium®-based voice and tracking systems flying on all types of aircraft throughout the world. The company also offers a versatile Iridium product line for personnel and ground vehicle tracking, remote base assured communications, and maritime SATCOM applications.
