Talia Limited is going to introduce a new network based on SES New Skies NSS-703 satellite. The network has based acceptance tests and is available for immediate use. NSS-703 at 57º E provides vital cross-connectivity for Europe, Africa and Asia. NSS-703’s coverage includes a global beam plus two C-band hemispheric beams, which cover Africa and the triangle from Eastern Iran to Japan and Australia, including all of India and China. A steerable Ku-band spot beams currently target Europe and the Middle East. “Our existing networks on RSCC’s AM-22 and Arabsat BADR-4 have been very popular,” said Alan Afrasiab, Talia’s Chief Executive Officer. “NSS-703 will allow us to bring our services, already known and respected, in the widely-available standard KU range.”
