Martin Coleman, Executive Director of SIG commented that bringing operators together to discuss operational challenges and requirements is key to working harmoniously within the industry. Their workshops offer their members an opportunity to raise important questions about the industry’s future, as well as discussing, on an operational level, how to deliver solutions to the challenges being faced.

Thomas Froehlich, CEO, WORK Microwave added that they are pleased to be hosting this important workshop at their offices. Within an increasingly faster evolving Satcom environment, it’s more important than ever to liaise with other satellite companies to ensure that state-of-the-art technologies and services can be delivered to consumers seamlessly.

With new requirements such as request fulfillment and incident management, the Satcoms Innovation Group (SIG) promotes innovation in the satellite communication industry to improve operational efficiency and reduce impact, saving time and money. As an open forum to generate innovative thinking, it enables the industry to come together and discuss current challenges. This helps manufacturers and service providers to deliver innovations and solutions that respond more precisely to those challenges. Those solutions will then be promoted through SIG channels, including events, website, social media, and in discussions with SIG’s industry network. For more information
