L-3 ETI Heads Into APAC With Watanabe


[Satnews] L-3 Electron Technologies, Inc. (L-3 ETI) is opening a new office in Tokyo to expand into the Japanese marketplace.

The office will act as the Asian headquarters for L-3 ETI’s pursuit of international sales of its product lines, which includes traveling wave tube amplifiers.

Mr. Yoshimoto Watanabe, an aerospace veteran, will serve as L-3 ETI’s in-country representative. He will provide a vital interface with domestic and international government officials and industrial partners. He has more than 20 years of successful business development experience with satellite manufacturers and operators such as Space Systems/Loral and Thales Japan K.K.

L-3 Electron Technologies, Inc. (L-3 ETI) is part of the Space & Power sector of L-3’s Communication Systems business segment. Its primary focus is on the manufacture of traveling wave tubes, electronic power conditioners, traveling wave tube amplifiers and electric propulsion systems for space and military applications.
