Maxar Technologies (NYSE & TSX: MAXR), the parent company of Space Systems/Loral (SSL), DigitalGlobe, MDA and Radiant Technologies, is going to moving their headquarters to Westminster, Colorado.

The firm states they will be creating more than 850 new jobs over the coming years at their new location. Currently, some 6,500 employees work at Maxar, of which 1,000 or so are already working in the Denver area, 800 of them at DigitalGlobe. The CEO and President of Maxar, Howard Lance, stated that this relocation represents an opportunity to bring together the company's executive leadership team in a common location, as well as to establish a base for our future shared-services organizations.
