Ten companies have joined the inaugural class of the Techstars Starburst Space Accelerator in Los Angeles.

Over the next three months, these companies will rapidly accelerate their businesses by working closely with Techstars Starburst, the organization's network of expert mentors, as well as formal sponsors from industry and government: NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Lockheed Martin, Maxar Technologies, SAIC, Israel Aerospace Industries North America, and the U.S. Air Force, with support from The Aerospace Corporation. Our Demo Day is on Wednesday, October 16, 2019.

From the start, Techstars set out to find world-class entrepreneurs solving big commercial problems with applications for space. It is reported that the quality of the applicants this year was exceptionally high and the selected companies represent a diversity of ideas, geographies, and industries. These companies are tackling challenges in areas such as in-space propulsion and servicing, Earth Observation, generative design, nuclear power, launch, solar cells, and autonomous vehicles and targeting industries including agriculture, automotive, mining, energy, and more.
