AtlanTecRF - Compact Oscillator Makes Market Entry

AtlanTecRF has launched their APV Series of Phase Locked Voltage Controlled Oscillators.

These compact Oscillator units find application in communication systems as a high quality local Oscillator with the ability to lock to a high stability external reference of 10 MHz or 100 MHz. The fixed output frequency can be in the range from 10 MHz to 32 GHz and is at a minimum level of +13dBm.

Spectral purity includes harmonics typically better than -30dBc, spurious at -70dBc and 10 KHz offset phase noise of -110dBc/Hz at 175 MHz and -75dBc/Hz at 25 GHz. The 2.25 x 2.25 x 0.62 inch Oscillators have SMA female RF output and reference input connectors and consume 400mA of D.C. at +5V. Each APV Oscillator comes with a TTL lock alarm and there is an option for self-contained operation with an internal reference of +/-0.5ppm stability over the -10+70C temperature range.

In launching the product, the C.E.O. of AtlanTecRF, Geoff Burling, noted that the company brings the system design engineer an affordable, high performance Oscillator product in a compact size and with a wide range of applications in mind.
