DoD + Harris... Steps Up + Speaks Up = Strong Systems Processes (Contract Communications Network)

Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) is a member of the Phacil Inc.-led team which was awarded a three-year, multi-million dollar contract for the Modernization Eastern Range Network program by the U.S. Department of Defense. The program will modernize the voice and data network that supports launch and test range communications for the U.S. Air Force Space Command 45th Space Wing at Canaveral Air Force Station and Patrick Air Force Base in Florida.

"We are committed to meeting the rigorous standards and launch range safety requirements of this initiative in order to modernize the mission communications network that is vital to our nation's space launch operations."

The contract was awarded under an Alliant Small Business Government-wide Acquisition Contract and work is expected to be completed by early 2019.
