Eight ASC Signal Antennas Purchased By Asian InfoCom Providers

[SatNews] ASC Signal Corporation was awarded a contract from one of Asia’s largest information and communications technology providers for the installation of seven 9.3-meter C-band and one 7.6-meter Ku-band antennas.

Included with the antenna purchase are seven of ASC’s Next Generation Controller (NGC) and custom feed systems.  The new antennas are being installed at a major teleport in Singapore and are joining several existing ASC antennas that are being relocated to the site. The NGC units provided with each antenna include an integrated spectrum analyzer as well as ASC’s latest redundancy control systems.  Along with the advanced capabilities of the NGC, the customer’s choice of ASC Signal products was driven by the company’s ability to rapidly deliver the antenna systems to meet critical on-air dates the teleport.

As a value-added extra, ASC is also providing customized, extended C-band feed systems for the 9.3-meter antennas.  These feed systems, which are among the more than 1,000 customized feed configurations in the ASC portfolio, will provide the customer with additional flexibility in deploying services to meet customer needs.

“The past two years at ASC Signal have seen a relentless drive to boost quality and technical innovation across all our products,” said Keith Buckley, President and CEO of ASC Signal.  “Operating in more than 100 countries, our customer has a global reputation for excellence, and its choice of ASC is an acknowledgement of the terrific efforts of our whole team to deliver precisely what customers need.”
