At The Edge Of Enterprise, GlobeRanger Ushers Out A Special Configuration For Their IoT Offering

[SatNews] GlobeRanger, a Fujitsu Company, has announced a special configuration for its proven iMotion™ IoT Edgeware Platform designed to meet organizations’ need for “connected intelligence” at the edge of the enterprise.

The iMotion™ IoT Edgeware Platform enables the Internet of Things (IoT) through device and data connectivity and management for sensors and other devices and continues to prove its stability, flexibility and ease of use with more than a decade of enterprise installations in defense and commercial sectors.

Edgeware, introduced to the market by GlobeRanger in 2002, is now an important part of any industrial IoT architecture. The iMotion Platform enables all devices to participate in an enterprise’s living operations. GlobeRanger now offers the iMotion™ IoT Edgeware Platform in a special Edge Controller configuration for the SMB market that enables smaller enterprises to take advantage of the powerful iMotion™ IoT Edgeware capabilities for smaller footprint, lower cost installations. The Edge Controller configuration of iMotion™ also allows enterprises to operate smaller remote or mobile locations within a larger iMotion™ global enterprise installation, lowering the operational cost of making key intelligent decisions at the point of device interaction.

The GlobeRanger iMotion™ IoT Edgeware Platform addresses key device connectivity or information processing requirements for mid- to large-sized companies with distributed locations, high transaction levels, or large data collection and aggregation activities. With GlobeRanger’s patented Edgeware technology and the connected intelligence it provides, data at the edge of the enterprise is transformed into actionable information.

“GlobeRanger continues to be a leading innovator in RFID and sensor software solutions for defense and commercial markets,” said key GlobeRanger partner Amber Richards, President of Integrated ID Solutions.
