The highest flight yet achieved for SpaceX's Starhopper prototype Starship and Super Heavy spacecraft was successfully launched on August 27, 2019.
The reusable Starhopper was boosted via a single Raptor engine a little after 6:00 p.m. EDT at the firm's test site in South Texas at their launch facilities at Boca Chica and achieved the target altitude of 500 feet (150 meters).
