The new office addresses the growing international demand for its C-Bird™ VSAT communications solution and spearheads sales and service support in the region. The office will be located at 44 Adramyttiou Street 17121 in Athens. Maritime Broadband Hellas, which is headed by Managing Director, Thanasis Giamas, employs a four-person staff fluent in English, Greek and French to serve the most prolific shipping companies throughout Europe and the world via its global channel partners.

Greek shipping companies control an impressive 18 percent of the world's shipping fleet, including 20.5 percent of all tankers, 19 percent of dry bulk vessels, 13 percent of all chemical tankers, and 5.9 percent of all container ships.
