Signalhorn Garners Extended Comms Contract for Leading O&G Firm in North Africa

Signalhorn has successfully been awarded the continued communication services with increased satellite capacity for one of the world’s leading onshore and offshore drilling companies operating in the North African region.

This drilling company operates a number of rigs in North Africa with a focus on safety, quality and operational performance. Signalhorn was awarded the extended communication services with increased satellite capacity based on its C-band, dedicated SCPC satellite services. Signalhorn’s strategic position across North Africa as a major provider of mission critical networks by means of local in-country support demonstrates their ability to deliver reliable, competitive services with consistent SLA’s.

Signalhorn provides best-in-class support both on the ground and from its state-of- the-art 24/7/365 Network Operation Centers, with local knowledge and the flexibility to respond quickly to the customers’ requirements.

Gary Bray, the Vice President of Energy at Signalhorn, reported that this contract extension with higher bandwidth from a major drilling company is an early indicator of renewed growth in the energy sector and Signalhorn continues and builds upon the existing 14 year relationship with this customer.
