Look Who Is Moving Up @ AGI To VP...

AGI, developer of commercially available software for the space, defense and intelligence industries, announced that it has promoted Travis Langster to vice president, DoD and Intel Space Business Development.

Langster joined AGI in 1996 as a systems engineer. His most recent position was serving as director of Space Situational Awareness Business Development, helping the space and military community implement applications of AGI's software technology and providing strategic solutions for critical SSA systems and programs at organizations such as the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), National Security Agency (NSA) and Department of the Air Force (USAF).

"Travis has played a key role in helping many of our largest customers cost-effectively incorporate game-changing capabilities into operational systems and research and development programs," says Paul Graziani, AGI CEO. "We are excited to have Travis take on responsibility for our business development efforts across the DoD and Intel space communities, and are confident that he will continue to expand upon the great success he has had with our SSA business."

Langster began his aerospace career in 1992 as an engineer with General Electric Aerospace. From 1994-1996, he worked at Lockheed Martin Astro Space. Langster is a member of Aerospace Industries of America (AIA) and serves as its Space Situational Awareness (SSA) committee chair. He is also a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), and was instrumental in the formation and initial operations of the U.S. Geospatial-Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) while serving on their Strategic Advisory Board. Langster earned a B.S. in aeronautical and astronautical engineering with a minor in mathematics from Purdue University.
