The same functionality is now delivered in a 19-inch 6RU equipment drawer which can be installed in an equipment room or in an antenna shelter. This has an advantage in harsh environmental conditions as all the electronics are protected by the equipment room itself. As always within the sat-nms product family, the unit provides an integrated web server and an SNMP MIB. Only an Ethernet interface is necessary to operate and monitor and control the antenna control system. For step-track purposes, it is possible to add the sat-nms LBRX beacon receiver which provides the beacon level information also via Ethernet UDP frames.
