The Satellite Interference Reduction Group (IRG) and Global VSAT Forum (GVF), and Newtec today announced a number of meetings and initiatives relating to satellite interference at IBC.
On Thursday September 6th, IRG and GVF are organizing a Eutelsat-sponsored meeting to discuss value-added services, that may be enabled by the Space Data Association. The meeting will be hosted in the Holiday Inn, Amsterdam from 1-5pm.
IRG and GVF will also be talking on a satellite interference panel, hosted by Newtec on Saturday 8th September at 3pm in room D203, Elicium building, 2nd floor. The Satellite Interference Reduction Group (IRG) works to reduce satellite frequency interference, and comprises of three main working groups, covering video, data, and VSAT. The Group’s membership is comprised of satellite operators, users, uplinkers, service providers, equipment vendors and other organizations interested and invested in combating radio frequency interference.
