[SatNews] RF Monolithics Inc (Nasdaq: RFMI) has shipped its one hundred millionth surface acoustic wave (SAW) filter used in satellite digital radio receivers.

Announcing this milestone in the satellite radio market, the company said that it's SAW filters represent state-of-the-art in SAW design and provide the desired filtering solution for satellite radio receivers. RFM has also developed multiple filter products for the satellite digital radio receiver market and supplies SAW filters for past and current generation satellite digital radio receivers. In addition, RFM said that it will continue to work with SIRIUS XM (NASDAQ:SIRI) and satellite digital radio manufacturers on products for future generation radios.
