RF Design... Mixed Configs Confirmed (RF)

[SatNews] The Company's new FlexLink-K3 is a professional, flexible modular type...

...Switch-Matrix System designed as a 6RU/19“ Master/Slave Chassis concept. Due to its modular design, the FlexLink-K3 features various input/output configurations (e.g., 64:64, 32:32, 16:64, while it is expandable at any time in increments of 8 to a bigger sized matrix like 64:96, 128:128 to 256:256,) always individually assembled for the customers application. All input/output switch-boards and modules are swappable and furthermore equipped with cascade input/output interfaces allowing easy access, expansion or maintenance, also during operation.

In order to allow maximum flexibility for various applications our R&D team has designed the system for allowing mixed input configuration with 50Ohm, 75Ohm and even optical connectors. Also, each of the outputs of the system can be mixed configured (50Ohm & 75Ohm). The combination of the inputs and outputs is freely configurable and can be arranged manually via a 8-inch touch-screen or remotely via WebExplorer (WEB-GUI) and/or SNMP.

In addition, FlexLink-K3 provides hot-swappable dual redundant power-supplies. This Switch-Matrix system is characterized by its excellent RF parameters, especially at Isolation, frequency response and signal stability. All this makes the FlexLink-K3 a perfect solution for flexible signal handling in Teleports, Satellite Up-/Downlink stations, Broadcast infrastructures, playout centers and CATV/IPTV architectures.
