ART CEO Abdul Aziz Yamani and CoreTrust CEO Jehak Woo have signed an agreement for the Satellite Hybrid IP-VOD service platform in Seoul, Korea.
CoreTrust content protection solution CoreCrypt for IPTV’ will secure major contents for the Satellite Hybrid IP-VOD service that will be launched later this year. ART (Arab Radio and Television Network) will deploy the CoreTrust DRM solution to secure the Satellite Hybrid IP-VOD platform in the Middle East region. After signing the deal with CoreTrust last week, ART CEO Abdul Aziz Yamani said: “We are delighted to seal this agreement with CoreTrust who has provided content protection solutions to major Telco’s, Satellite, and Cable operators in Korea, and with other operators in Asia, North Africa and the Middle East for the past decade”.
“CoreTrust provides a wide range of Conditional Access and DRM solutions for IPTV, Mobile TV and CATV. ‘CA and DRM are the basis of the pay-TV services for digital broadcasting and CoreTrust technologies have been focusing only on pay-TV encryption platforms in order to keep close control on the content usage in conventional pay-TV applications’” said Jehak Woo, CoreTrust CEO.
